Whether your doctor wants to confirm your fetus is developing normally, or if your pregnancy is considered high risk, the New Jersey Perinatal Associates (NJPA) team works with your obstetrician to promote your health and the health of your unborn baby.
Our care can begin in the months prior to conception for pre-pregnancy consultation. We’ll review your history and develop a plan to optimize chances of a successful pregnancy
During pregnancy, we offer counseling, education and confirm proper fetal development. We also provide more advanced diagnostics (including ultrasound, amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling) and direct fetal assessment (including invasive procedures such as intrauterine therapy).

NJPA physicians developed the division of maternal-fetal medicine at St. Barnabas Medical Center and are now in private practice. We provide consultative care for patients delivering at any hospital, and have offices throughout North Central New Jersey.
Our Approach
We believe in a hands-on approach to patient care and we think it’s important to see your doctor during your visits. Unlike at many other practices, you’ll meet your doctor at all of your appointments. You should be able to talk to your doctor about your test results and not be given a technician’s report.
